Amarjeet Sada - Unraveling the Chilling Story of the World's Youngest Serial Killer
Psychopaths- A trait that researchers
are researching even today. If we look at the definition, it says: a person
having an ego-centric and antisocial personality marked by a lack of remorse
for one's actions, an absence of empathy for others, and often criminal
intentions.
A psychopath has no feelings towards
anything, not even humans, that's why they don't even think before taking any
action- even if it is something serious like murder. They are so out of touch
with the reality that they don't even realize that their action is a crime,
it's an offence, he's hurting someone.
During medical treatment, a
psychologist shows his patient an image of a scared person to see his reaction.
The patient says that he has no idea about such emotions, but it excites him
when he kills people, stabs them, and before dying they have the same look on
their faces.
And just like this, there is a
similar crazy story of Amarjeet Sada, but the surprising element of this story
is that the killer/ murderer is an eight-year-old child who committed not one,
but three murders! He is known as the youngest serial killer in the world. And
all the victims’ age was less than six years.
This grim tale delves into the mind
of a child capable of unspeakable acts, leaving us questioning the complexities
of human nature and the factors that can shape a person's life. Let us embark
on a chilling journey as we unfold the disturbing details surrounding Amarjeet
Sada's life and the crimes that horrified the world.
Early Life and Background:
Amarjeet Sada was born in 1998 in
Mushahari, a village in India's Begusarai district, Bihar. Raised in an
impoverished family, his childhood was marred by neglect, poverty, and exposure
to violence. His father was an alcoholic, and his mother struggled with mental
health issues. Living in a dysfunctional environment, Amarjeet experienced
significant emotional and psychological trauma at a young age.
The First Tragic Incident:
Amarjeet's first known crime occurred
when he was just seven years old. In 2006, he killed his six-month-old cousin
by smashing the infant's head against the floor. Shockingly, this horrifying
act went unnoticed by his family, who dismissed it as an accident. This
incident marked the beginning of a series of gruesome crimes that would soon earn
Amarjeet the title of the world's youngest serial killer.
Rising Body Count:
Amarjeet's insidious crimes continued
as he embarked on a killing spree that targeted other young children. In 2007,
at the age of eight, he brutally murdered his own sister, who was only six
months old. In 2008, he killed Khoosboo, the daughter of Chunchun Devi from his
village. She was also brutally murdered, first strangled in her neck, then hits
her with a brick until she was dead. The police now alerted to his dark deeds,
apprehended Amarjeet and brought him into custody.
Psychological Examination and
Controversy:
Amarjeet was a disturbed child. There
was always a violent, murderous streak inside him. His family also had the
experience of his violent streak. Amarjeet's family was aware of his doings
from the beginning since the first two kills happened within the family, but
they kept it hidden. Amarjeet underwent a psychological evaluation to ascertain
the factors behind his shocking behaviour.
A psychologist termed him as a
'sadist' who gets pleasure by killing people, this habit was already formed in
his brain. Before killing someone, he doesn't need any influence or trigger.
Another psychologist said that he had conduct disorder, a behavioural disorder
where a person has no social conduct. They show persistent, repetitive and
aggressive behaviour, found in teenagers and young adults. But seeing this
disorder in an eight-year-old child was truly disturbing. However, the exact
motives and psychological intricacies behind Amarjeet's actions remain largely
unknown.
Legal Outcome and Aftermath:
Due to his age, Amarjeet was found to
be beyond the purview of the Indian criminal justice system, which stipulates
that children under the age of 7 cannot be held responsible for crimes.
Instead, he was placed under the care of a children's home for rehabilitation
and psychological support until he was 18. He was released as soon as he turned
18, and currently, he is 24 years old. In 2015, it was reported that Amarjeet
is now living a new life with a new name in a new city.
This case garnered international attention, sparking debates about the nature of evil and the appropriate response to such crimes committed by children. The chilling tale of Amarjeet Sada leaves us grappling with profound questions about the human capacity for violence and the role of the environment in shaping an individual's behaviour. This tragic story serves as a stark reminder of the importance of early intervention and support systems to prevent the manifestation of dark tendencies in young minds.
